Buttermilk-Blueberry Breakfast Cake Recipe
Mmm, mmm, mmm. You guys are in for a treat! This Buttermilk-Blueberry Breakfast Cake is so good that you’re going to want to eat it for breakfast, lunch, dinner, dessert, and snacks in between. It’s incredibly moist and bursting with cheerfully juicy blueberry flavor.
This cake is so easy to make that you could make it even while you’re half-asleep before having your morning coffee. (Though as a coffeeholic, I don’t recommend that. Drink coffee WHILE you bake!) However, I need to stress this: don’t forget to toss the blueberries with flour before mixing them in. This keeps them from sinking to the bottom of the cake. Once it’s ready to bake, I like to sprinkle on some coarse sugar crystals for a pretty sparkle and tasty crunch.
