Grate ginger and garlic in a medium-sized bowl. Add honey, lemon juice, sesame oil, and soy sauce to a bowl. Mix well. Note- do not add any salt to the dish because the soy sauce is already very salty.
Place salmon in a deep dish. Score fish and cover the salmon in the marinade.
Next, use plastic wrap to cover the dish and place it in the fridge for a minimum of 2 hours to marinate.
After waiting for 2 hours, take salmon out of the fridge and place it somewhere to be exposed to room temperature. Leave it there for 30 minutes.
While waiting for salmon to reach room temperature, preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
Once preheated, place the dish of salmon in the oven and cook for 15 minutes.
Serve with white rice, quinoa, or any grain. Enjoy!
