¼cuplemon juicefresh
½cuporange juicefreshly squeezed preferred
2cupsGreek yogurtplain, 2% or full-fat recommended
Instructions
In a medium saucepan, combine the sugar, orange juice, and lemon juice. Set over medium heat and stir occasionally for 2–3 minutes until the sugar is fully dissolved and the liquid is clear.
Add the blueberries, blackberries, and strawberries to the saucepan. Stir gently, reduce heat to medium-low, and simmer for 6–7 minutes until the berries have softened and released their juices and the sauce has thickened slightly. Remove from heat and allow to cool to room temperature, or serve warm (see Notes).
Divide the Greek yogurt evenly between two serving bowls (about 1 cup / 250g each). Spoon the berry compote generously over the yogurt and serve immediately.

Notes
Storage: The berry compote keeps in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days. Reheat gently in a small saucepan or microwave for 30 seconds before serving.
Make-ahead: Prepare the compote up to 3 days ahead and store refrigerated. Assemble with yogurt just before serving for the best contrast of warm fruit and cool yogurt.
Substitutions: Swap sugar for honey or maple syrup (use ¼ cup and adjust to taste). Any combination of fresh or frozen berries works well, including raspberries or cherries.
Freezer option: The compote freezes well for up to 3 months. Thaw overnight in the fridge and reheat before serving.
Pro tip: Serve warm compote over cold yogurt for the best flavor contrast and texture.
